Early Childhood Center
Rivier College's Early Childhood Center offers early education and care for children six weeks through kindergarten. The ECC is part of the Rivier campus, located in a residential neighborhood in Nashua. We enroll children from the surrounding communities and those of Rivier College students, faculty and staff. The Early Childhood Center is a special place for children. We offer an inclusive program serving children with a variety of abilities. The Early Childhood Center embraces the unique abilities and talents of all children, families, faculty, and college students. The ECC works with parents to support and enhance each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Teachers encourage children's development through questioning, listening, and taking part in activities with the children. The ECC provides Rivier College education majors opportunities to observe and work with children under the direct supervision of cooperating teachers, and to develop skills for success in the field of early childhood education. The ECC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and licensed by the New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services Bureau of Child Care Licensing.
